Before Nova
Color Waves
Available at Kindle Vella
While life on Earth is falling apart, Dawn is evolving.
Before the “Great Fall,” she flourished in high school until a bully trashed her on social media and ruined her reputation. One more year to graduate, and graduation couldn’t arrive soon enough.
But, fear tends to follow you, if you don’t overcome it.
Now the world lies in shambles. Cellphones die along with internet connections. Television broadcasts buzz with static, the white screen riddled with pixelated patterns. Then electricity putters out, transforming powered devices into outmoded relics of another era. Dawn and her family remain isolated in their cabin, nestled in California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains. Yet, a glimmer of hope emerges. Dawn discovers she inherited her grandmother’s second sight. Gram described this phenomenon in her handwritten journal as “riding the color waves.” When they’re forced to leave the safety of their cabin, Dawn’s latent ability manifests. Precognition, remote viewing and other kinds of ESP.
A light universe full of magnificent colors emerges during her dreams. And, as awareness expands, the shift also happens on a physical level while awake—her body vanishes, and she lands in the other realm.
As Dawn stands at the cusp of change, so does mankind. What does it mean for existence on Earth?

Will she be the link for mankind’s fallen world, the evolutionary key to a higher plane of existence?

About Lyn Blair
I wish I could say, “I began reading at age four and by the time I was six, I was writing short stories.”
But…I wasn’t always a writer, not even close. I don’t even remember writing an essay until college. So, when my first and only college English professor made us write a 250- word essay, my dormant writing ability was put to the test.
Despite all my squirming, fidgeting and fingernail biting, my writing hand refused to move and a blank page stared back at me.
